The Talon was born like a JunkTankRock "Viper" racing car. What a cool design and creative use of common kit parts! I opened my spare box looking for a nice pair of headlights.. and ended rebuilding it completely.
Instead of a racer, now I it is an ultra fast war machine with a fully automated double 7.62mm Vulcan turret, hardened cockpit, powerful Fiat-Iveco V6 12litre multifuel engine, smoke dischargers and a front radiator grille.
Its name is Talon.
The resemblance with the Spitfire is gone, only remains of the wing roots remember an airplane but I really love the muscular and bulbous nose!

Junk Tank Rock "Viper"
The original JunkTankRock Viper model is based on an 1/48 Tamiya Spitfire enlarged fuselage with front and gearbox from a Panther tank, wheels from an M8/M20(front) and Sd.Kfz.222(rear) armored cars, belly armor and interiors from a Schwimmwagen and fuel filler port from a Tiger tank, all in 1/35 scale.
