1/35 Bronco Models Sd.Kfz. 221

The SdKfz. 221/222 and the correspondent radio version: SdKfz. 260/261/223 Leichter PanzerspƤhwagen (Light Armored Reconnaissance Vehicle) were a series of light four-wheel drive armored cars produced by Nazi Germany from 1935 to 1944.
The SdKfz. 221 was the base model and first production series of light armored car built on standard heavy four-wheeled passenger car chassis (sPkw I Horch 801). It was armed with a single 7.92 mm Maschinengewehr 34 (MG34) machine gun, manned by a two man crew and had 4-wheel drive. Armour protection was originally 8 mm thick, but increased to 14.5 mm later in production.

The initial kits released from Bronco had an issue with the rear turret profile where the rear plate was slightly too wide resulting in the two rear side panels being too short.
Apart this, the kit is a little gem.. photoetched included.
- Bronco Models have now revised the turret shell profile and now match reference photos well -
On PMMS website you will find a detailed review about this little model.

DKW NZ 350 Motorcycle is from Tamiya, rider figure from Royal Model and the chapel from Adalbertus.
