I'm a big fan of JunkTankRock design although you can find their product only at Tokyo Wonder Festival.. so you need a good friend over there.
This is a very muscle mono wheel bike, quite difficult to paint: it is so little and bulged you don't have space for shades. Trying to put so many different shades of sand color (bike, figure, bags and tanks) in a model that can sit in you hand was a nice challenge. Bags come from the Verinden range.
Base color: Humbrol Matt 83 Ochre, oils for shadows and Vallejo acrylics for painting fabric.
A war monobike like the Seg888 will be a nightmare to drive: you will have a very limited frontal view, your single tire isn't rounded so you can't bend in turn like a bike and you can't even touch the ground with the tip of your boot!!
I avoided usual dark chipping on this model because I would point out it is a soft skin vehicle: it hasn't an armored surface and probably like a real bike or maxi-scooter most of its bodyshell is made of plastic not metal so light scratches will evidence only the base color against the worn near surface.. but these are only my elucubrations..
I used a big desert photo as background and I put it quite away from the model so it will come out of focus in "in action" jpg.
