When I first see the "Shogun" model made by Kensone, it was a... BANG! --> "I have to try this"!
So I run to my local hobby shop, buyed a Tamiya 1/16 Feldmarschall ROMMEL plastic figure
and tried to reproduce it.
This is my first big scale (1/16) "figure" and everything is handpainted over a flat black primer with Vallejo Acrylics except metallics:
Basecolor: Humbrol Gun Metal
Drybrush: Humbrol Aluminium
Highlights: Humbrol Silver
The shoulder armor are form a Ma.K. Fireball, knee armor were a pingpong ball.
The basic structure for the head are two tubes; the "lenses" are Kotobukiya M.S.G, the chin is a 1/35 Tamiya tank training firing simulator part, the "ears" are Dragon BRDM vents covers, the forehead is a German "war light" and the green parts are from a KMT-5 mine roller in 1/35 scale.
A bit of milliput helps blend everything together.
