This is the first Ma.K. model I ever completed: a simple, old S.A.F.S. from Nitto in light blue "camo" with white stripes, build "Out of The Box" included the horrible Nitto hand.
A joy to complete! I was quite satisfied, this is the look I was looking for: dirty and muddy.
For the muddy ground I used Coarse Acrylic Pumice mixed with Vallejo acrylic Raw Umber and small roots plus tea leaves for the "organic" look, then I spread the mixture on the base with a brush. Diluted satin varnish gives the "wet" look.
The grass is a seaweed called "posidonia".
For the puddle I used many layers of Vernidas tinted with enamels.
Coarse Acrylic Pumice
It is an acrylic paste you can color directly mixing it with pigments or acrylic colors. It looks like a grey gel with some grain sand in it.
There are different grains or you can buy only the gel (it is like the MIG Acrylic Resin) then add your preferred sand. I use the medium grain.
You don't need to add glue at all because it sticks very well and dry fast, hard as a rock.

On December 14 of 2884, four suits of the preceding product type of the Super A.F.S. which was loosing its power of old times by new weapons of the Shutorial forces appearing successively, were delivered to the primary A.F.S. company of the 14th Armored Hunting Regiment.
Then, on December 25, the Super A.F.S. of the Corporal Robert Bush rode easly defeated an unattended heavy hover tank, Nutrocker to make his glorious debut.
After that, the name of the Super A.F.S. became a pronoun of fear on the battlefield.
